Āhaḇ is one of the Hebrew versions for the word love. this is used in Deuteronomy 6 when Moses commands us to love God with all our heart soul and strength (Deut 6:5). Āhaḇ refers to love between a parent and his child, a husband and wife and between two good friends. I love this.
God is our father, God is our bridegroom, and God is our friend.
